HYPOCRISY

I think I've mentioned many times how much I despise hypocrisy. To me, it is the ugliest, most horrendous characteristic. Again, as I said, everyone is a hypocrite, to an EXTENT. Like maybe you tell your sibling they can't do something and then a day later you do it. ONE TIME. Big deal,  everyone does that. But what I fucking cannot stand are people who preach DAILY about whatever, and MANY of their actions go against whatever they preach.

So today I'm going to tell you about some hypocrites that I've seen over the course of my life.

So this one lady, let's call her A. Now A loves to preach about forgiveness and love. Now as for me, their is this one lady that I hate. I don't like to talk to her cuz I don't like her. I don't even say hi when I see her or acknowledge her existence Life is simpler that way. Pretty innocent right? Now A decides to come along and preach to me how what I am doing is wrong.
"You can't not say hi to her, she is like your mother"

"You can't say you don't like her, we must not hate other"

"You've known her for a long time, you must be at least a little kind to her"

Ghandi I swear!
Now this would have been okay, and I actually would have accepted her advice had not been her hypocrisy. Allow me to explain:
Incident number one:
One of A's friends tells A's daughter to stop picking on her daughter. A goes to her friend and threatens to call the cops on her if she talks to her daughter again.

You want me taking advise from a lady like that? Yeah, I thought so.

Incident number 2:
A's son is playing with this other boy, who ACCIDENTLAY hits A's son while playing. A goes into the class the poor little boy is and slaps him IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS. Then she says she will never let that boy come into her house again.

And this would've all been fine, had it not been for the fact that A fucking preaches about forgiveness and love ALL THE TIME. STFU YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE.

Crazy right? There's more

Now another lady (let's call her B) doesn't like the fact that I hate that one lady that I refuse to say hi too. She comes and preaches to me about how wrong I am. Okay.
Here's the catch, just a few days before she claimed that a friends inlaws were over and she REFUSED TO SAY HI TO THEM because she said that weren't helping her friend with the chores.

WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU CALL THAT?!?!?!?

"We should forgive each other" says those who can't forgive a friend because they didn't invite them to a dinner. Say wuuuuut?!?

This is strait up hypocrisy. And it's despicable. I HATEEEEEEEEEEE hypocrisy. I cannot emphasize that enough.

Do you have any crazy hypocrites you know?

Our Priorities are WRONG

After hearing about countless events, and even going to a few, I have found out that people have their priorities wrong when it comes to Syria. Very very very very wrong. So wrong that it's sad people here are bickering over the most insignificant thing while people over in Syria are being slaughtered and are dying of hunger. Syria is bleeding. It has been bleeding for almost half a century, ever since Hafez Al Assad took over Syria. People do not realize that this revolution was bound to happen. They do not realize that it was not the Daraa children incident that ignited the flame of the revolution, it was the crimes that Hafez Al assad had committed before Bashar Al Assad came to rule. Do people forgot that young men were randomly detained for NO reason? That they were thrown in jail and tortured mercilessly for no purpose?

I know the purpose now: it was to break the people of Syria. It was to teach them what would happen to those who opposed then. It would make them afraid. There is a very well known saying that suits this situation perfectly:

"THOSE WHO DO NOT READ HISTORY ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT"

Did they not know what happens to governments that try to silence people? Have they not learned from history?

How many times have we seen this situation?
The evil government mistreating it's people and the people are finally fed up and rebel against them? And what happens? They succeed.

This scenario has been seen over and over and over again. It it the most cliche of all movie scenarios. Nobody wants to see a movie with a plot like that because we all know what's going to happen.

I just absolutely HATE when people say this revolution should not have happened. Or when people make decisions they are not entitled to make. We here have not suffered a single day of our lives (well at least not the suffering the people in Syria are suffering) yet we sit here and jabber and talk like we are Ghandi. Once you have gone through what the people in Syria have gone through, enlighten us with your judgment, other than that, STFU

Now this post isn't about the stupidity of Assad, it's about our priorities, and how messed up they are.

Let me tell what questions Syrian "activists" ask themselves when they want to organize an event:
- Where should the event be held?
- Who should we bring to speak?
- What kind of food should be served?
- How can we entertain our guests?
- What should the decorations be?

Now all these questions are important, to an extent. But they are forgetting the most important question of all:
HOW CAN WE HELP THOSE IN SYRIA?

Nowadays, these events are focused on the most irrelevant things.

For example, one "council" organized an event to bring Asala Nasri, a famous Syrian singer. People rushed to buy tickets and those who chose not to attend were judged like CRAZY. Now this would have been fine and dandy, but during the concert, she sang songs about love, and only ONE, hear me, ONE song on Syria. Can anyone convince that event was not a total joke?
What's more, she demanded $50,000 for her crew that tagged along (for the musicians, hair stylists, etc plane tickets, hotel rooms, accommodations, etc). Instead of giving that $50,000 to poor Syrian orphans who are struggling to survive, they give it to some chicks crew.

Nice.

#logicfail

Now let me give you another example of our priorities being wrong. One council brought a pro-Assad supporter to an event, so that we can hear their "opinion"

Are you kidding me? Seriously?!?!?

WHY should we hear their stupid opinion! We know what their opinion is! They are pro assad. End of story.

A few weeks ago, a pro revolution organization brought Bashar Al-Jaafari to the states.

Pardon me thats "Dr." Bashar Jaafari

Now anti-government organizations decided to organize a protest right outside where the Jaafari event was taking place. Instead of 500+ people coming to show the pro-government people what they're messing with, a measly 50 maybe 60 people came.

Why? Because this is a protest, and that's boring to just stand and shout chants. Plus it involves no socializing and wearing nice clothes.

At least that pro-government organization is bringing the right kind of people (for them) to their events. Unlike us, we are bringing people from their side to speak at our events, so we can hear their "opinions"

Close down your dumb councils, you are not helping Syria one bit.

Slacktivism

Ever heard of the word? I came across it reading a blog once, and I discovered that there was actually a name for the behavior that I despise so much, and it is called SLACKTIVISM.

It's not even officially a word, even though so many people in this world are guilty slactivists. You ask, what does it mean? Here is a good definition:

"SLACKTIVISM" is a mash up of the words "slacker" and "activist" and it's that feel good feeling that someone gets, believing they have contributed to a certain cause, when in fact they have done next to nothing, and when they have not helped that certain cause one bit.

Examples of slacktivism:
- singing an internet petition
- joining an organization and going to events but not contributing anything
- spreading "awareness"
- changing ones avatar or profile photo
- wearing t-shirts related to the cause
- asking people to donate money when you donate none yourself

Now all of these are slacktivists activities if that person does only so, there is nothing wrong with signing an internet petition and then TRULY giving and supporting the cause, not just singing an internet petition and saying "I DID MY PART, NOW I CAN FEEL LESS GUILTY"
Will signing an internet petition TRULY help any cause? NO

Sound familiar? Are you a slacktivist? Don't be sad, almost everyone is, to an extent, except me of course because I am so brilliant.

Just kidding.

Now their are some people that say "well at least I am doing SOMETHING" NO, you are not doing anything. Posting a link on Facebook and asking people to donate does NOT count as doing anything, IF you just want people to donate because YOU DO NOT WANT TO. Some people donate, and post the link to encourage more people to donate. That's fine.

Some people don't want to donate and just say "hey I don't want to donate, but if I tell other people to donate that will make me feel better about myself, make me feel like I did something"

THAT'S DESPICABLE. If you don't want to donate, DO NOT TELL OTHER PEOPLE TO DONATE JUST SO YOU CAN RELIVE SOME OF YOUR GUILT.

Most of the people here who set up an "event" don't want to help Syria (and they aren't) they just want people to say "wow, look at him/her, taking out time from their schedule to help Syria, they must be great" because their events don't help at all and are just concerned with pleasing America.

And people who do not want to come to the events (hence, myself) because I see them as desperate events just concerned on pleasing irrelevant people and in NO WAY are helping Syria at all, are judged like crazy.
Just because someone doesn't go to an event/protest does NOT mean they don't care about Syria. Why should I go to an event that in no way will benefit Syria? Do you want me to go to an event where Asala Nasri came and started singing love songs? Where she demanded 50,000 dollars for her "crew?" Yeah, NO THANKS. I don't go to sorry, desperate events like that.

Slacktivism doesn't just apply to causes, it applies to other things.

Like parents who have children in school

"Oh I did my part, he/she is in school learning"

Parents who have a child who is doing something that is harming themselves

"Oh I told him what he is doing is wrong, I did my part"

Teachers who give out a stupid unhelpful lecture

"Oh I gave out the lecture, I did my part"

and the list goes on and on and on.

What do you think about slactivism?

Stupidity

Here is a post you can read whenever you feel slightly stupid. No matter how stupid you feel, their are always those whose stupidity is unparalleled.

Lo and behold

"The Syrian govt. was elected by Syrians" which is why their hasn't been general elections for almost half a century.

"Do you think that those people want war with Israel on top of what they already go through with the FSA?
WAIT I THOUGHT THE FSA WAS WORKING FOR ISRAEL? SO AREN'T THEY ALREADY "AT WAR" WITH ISRAEL? Stick to one lie dammit! You are confusing me.
#Logicfail

How the hell would you know this?

LOLOLOLOL extremely high speeds please your killing me.

Wait what??? How about before the FSA, why didn't the "jaysh" make Israel regret messing with them?

I'd take him more seriously if he wasn't smoking weed. "They're defending their land" no hun, they are defending Assad.

So if a Palestinian does not support Assad, they are traitors? WOW.

This one is a CLASSIC:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Always gives me a boost knowing that I am an absolute genius compared to these people.

I'm afraid that I agree.
